Photographers
Photographs activities, Reports directly to the photo manager, Oversee the fulfillment of photographic requirements, Schedule inter-departmental photos, such as with Engineering, Deck, and Medical Departments, to update their photo boards; crew photos, Cover on-ship and off-ship events, special ceremonies, arrivals and departures, cargo loading, etc. Keep accurate and detailed logs of each roll of film with appropriate designations. Work with a digital camera and take care of computer photo printing. Keep photo equipment maintained and cleaned. Maintain a good working environment in the photo office. Keep abreast of photographic developments and make suggestions for improvements. Develop good working relationships with other departments. Be aware of the laws of the land as regards the public use of photographic equipment and be discerning in your use of the camera. Required to have two to three years of professional photography experience. Outgoing personalities with a blend of salesmanship and adventure. Required and supposed to possess all applicable certifications by a recognized maritime government body and a certificate of qualification, speaking fluent English is mandatory.
